HAZE

The 'Haze' series captures the elusive, shifting nature of memory through a blend of paint, physical media, and archival imagery. As memories age, they become fragmented—fading into impressions, color flashes, or lingering emotions, rather than clear snapshots. This process often distills memories into sensations that resist precise form, which 'Haze' brings to life with textured overlays and mixed media.

In an image-saturated world, our memories are often less organic recollections and more a blend of lived experience and visual references. Archival images, once merely records, now act as reinforcements or distortions of what we remember, sometimes altering the original essence. Do we remember these moments as they were, or as the archival images show? The series probes the boundaries between personal recollection and mediated memory, questioning if our digital archives capture reality or transform it, blending truth with embellishment in a haze of past and present.
